Apparently Nebraska fired their Athletic Director, Steve Pedersen. Now, I can't argue with the decision. But it's misplaced. Yes, giving Callahan an extension was a mistake. But the Chancellor signs off on that sort of move, so blame yourself. The right move is to fire Callahan, and admit your own mistake. But it's so much easier to blame someone else.
This is what happens when you make a mockery of a proud tradition likes the Blackshirts.
